Norm Macdonald is Stan Hooper, a commentator on America's highest rated newsmagazine. After ten years of speaking about the human condition from the ivory tower of his Manhattan studio, Stan decides he must live among the ordinary people.

But Stan and his wife Molly discover that life has moved on in ten years and maybe there just aren’t any ordinary people in America anymore, at least not like Stan recalls.
