The Ortegas, following in the proud tradition of The Larry Sanders Show, is an unusual mix of scripted comedy, wild improvisation and real talk show. Each week the Ortegas, led by Cheech Marin, welcome real-life celebrities into their 'home' for homemade Mexican snacks. Once the guest is feeling full and relaxed, the family drags them out behind the house - to their TV studio - and proceeds to grill them with unscripted interview questions. And things get even wilder when the Ortegas' unusual friends and neighbors drop by.
